I just stumbled across this site while looking for information on a large (rare) aircraft over St. John's. I can confirm there was a large 4-engine aircraft (most likely the KC-135 mentioned) that departed St. John's (Callsign BACKY95) at 16:15Z from runway 16, turned right over Mount Pearl and headed direct to YSJ (Saint John).
